What are you donating to? You’re donating to the next generation so they can challenge themselves and become known. This means you’re empowering them to change the status quo: no longer are they satisfied with the old model of working hard enough to get into a good college so they can hope to fall into a decent job once they’ve graduated. Instead, these young people are the ones building a solid foundation of self-knowledge and social support underneath them so that they not only know who they are, but they’re prepared for life’s challenges. In fact, they’re the ones choosing to challenge themselves so they can show what they’re made of, and then pursue what burns inside them with the confidence to light the world.

Each cohort of EmpowerMeant includes participants on scholarships supported through the donations of amazing people like you, because we, collectively, believe in empowering everyone. Our values of connection, diversity, integrity, and gratitude drive this practice, and boy, are we grateful for you!
